I cuss a lot. In other news, I have adorable pets.

My not-so-hellish week

After discovering that I had two exams (one fairly large and important essay-style ethics exam) and a massive presentation this week, I thought this week was going to be It. My Week Of Hell.

Fortunately for me and those around me that would inevitably receive the products of my stress, it’s not looking so bad, though I haven’t quite decided yet whether that’s because I originally overestimated the hellishness or because I simply don’t care about school.

I’m tempted to admit the latter, but what does that say about my motivation?

Oh yeah. I have none.

On top of my exams and presentation, I have a large amount of reading to do – or at least skim – for my weekly quizzes in Demers’ classes. Ordinarily I would bitch, moan and complain about this, except we’re currently reading/finishing Athena’s Forum by Phillip Tichenor… it’s a novel about a Swedish couple that moves to a fictional town and county in Minnesota to work at and eventually own their own newspaper. It’s really quite intriguing to read their fictional battles with the politics of a owning and running a newspaper/printing company in a small town.

Also, there’s a clever little line about being a stoic and “stiff” at the same time. Tee hee.
