Too many cowboys, not enough rope*
Linzie Walker won the barrel racing for the fourth year in a row in Pendleton this year.
I. Am. Exhausted.
The 2009 Pendleton Round-Up was a huge success, in my humble opinion. There was family, friends and mucho beer. It’s a rodeo, what do you expect?
I got to see some great barrel racing, bronc (saddle and bare back) riding and of course bull riding. Those are my favorite events.
In case you’re wondering, I am NOT a fan of the steer wrestling and calf roping events. Not. Cool. I cheer every time a cowboy screws up and the lil’ guys get away. So sue me.
Ride 'em, cowboy!
But I do love me a good (or bad) cowboy. Let ‘er buck!
All I can say is @lucirachael better make it next year.
* I didn’t say it. A T-shirt did. I promise.

I will cheer for her! I really love calf roping though and I myself usually join events like this. I even have lots of stuff from https://ropingsupply.com/store/ropes/classic-calf/ that my wife really wants me to pack away in the shed haha!

I hate the stupid calf roping events, too. As a matter of fact, I believe we both cheered when they got away.
